Upper Village Blooms had a special set of challenges in establishing its brand in the intimate town of Croton-On-Hudson. The florist that had occupied the space previously was a familiar fixture in the town and enjoyed a reasonably positive sentiment among the community. Upper Village Blooms was not only attempting to keep the business that the previous owners maintained but grow the more lucrative and prestigious market of life celebrations and corporate events. Upper Village Blooms was looking to upgrade not only the experience but every experience of customers ordering multiple arrangements over the phone or walking in this charming boutique looking for that perfectly unique gift. The exceptional work of local artists and makers are a staple of the offerings at Upper Village Blooms. All of these initiatives had to both remain components of the previous owners established model and had to survive the migration to a sophisticated and capable business with a decidedly “upscale & approachable” sensibility. The pallet is elegant yet energetic and the graphical language speaks of refinement and an aesthetic in harmony with classical themes and changing tastes.
